Henry Wadsworth Longfellow wrote, “All are architects of fate living in these walls of time.”
I, with a councilmate, was walking out of the school last night. & we talked about the time we had in council. we agree shit happens. but by the end of the talk, we both agree on one thing. if one were to ask whether either of us regret joining council. confidently (and sincerely), we can answer, "no regrets. at all"
For a start, when we passed the (dark) track, we talked about LTC. now who can forget LTC. one boot camp i'll remember and love. the night cheering from two opposing sides of the field, night trekking to sentosa, bean/seed cleanup in the unlit closed up LT, backing up (and praying for) a groupmate in need, countless pushups/situps/*insert any physical activity*, and many more.
Then, we saw the main gate. nownow, it is definitely a privilege 4 of us (mega, lynn, weiqi and i) get to hold. sure, climbling the side gate is quite a breeze. yes? now, how about the beeg MAIN gate at night. we feel like (happy) sneaky robbers. it was so exciting!(: thank god none of us got hurt. & this, reminds me of all the late nights in school. with the security guard having to keep reminding us to hurry up and leave. dance practices, orientation cleanups, ushering duties, leftover foods, yada yada yada.
Whenever i look up and see the standrew secondary's top floor street soccer pitch, it reminded me of the time when me and a couple other councilmates sneaking up into the lift and doing nonsensical stuff at the pitch. well, who can resist that place at night right. then, also how we realise later that the bridge gate was locked. and us having to walk allllll the way to the front gate. a bunch of girls in no.1 and heels trying to hitch a ride. hahaha.
i shan't go on about the many other memories i share with my favaourites. personal memories i can keep. none of which can be completely presented by a mere video. before long, we, the 29th student council, will be stepping down. putting aside bad memories (of block tests too), we'll be moving on to the next important phase. the (up and down)journey to the all-important Alevels.

What happened to me in between (the 2 years)? Has much really changed? Dont worry, Im not going to rattle on about some Am-I-happpy-with-who-I-am-now-or-how-I-were shit. That's for losers. Ha-ha. Alright, Goodnight now. =)
It was just a thought to myself... Just a thought...
